Heroes’ pets need your help, Angels!

Good morning Angels!

I received an email from Ashley Gill, the Alabama Director of Volunteers for Guardian Angels for Soldiers Pets (G.A.S.P.), and am delighted to pass on the following information regarding this great cause:

Can you foster a Military Service Member’s beloved pet until they come home from deployment or emergency hardship?

Do you have the room in your home and heart to foster a military service member’s beloved pet(s) while they are deployed overseas? Military service members love their pets and are often left with the only choice of relinquishing pet ownership rights by taking their beloved pet(s) to a shelter when they get their deployment papers and have been unable to locate someone to provide a caring, loving, and safe home environment for them.

If you are interested and can do this wonderful act of kindness for a military service member, please check out the website to learn more about how you can help via our Foster Home program, and submit an application to help one of our bravest.

Guardian Angels for Soldier’s Pet, an ALL Volunteer 501c3 nonprofit is constantly seeking to increase our foster home network throughout the United States, as our ability to respond to military personnel in need is directly dependent upon the number of available foster homes we have to call upon. Foster care commitments can range from 6 to 18 months.

Our sincere thanks for considering this and checking it out.

If you can foster a hero’s pet, be sure to check out that link and submit your application!
