About Soldiers’ Angels


Soldiers’ Angels is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization that supports our current and veteran service members with a number of programs including adopting soldiers for care packages and letters around the world, transitional back packs for the wounded at hospitals in the US, Germany and in combat theaters, and VET Packs for our veterans at VA hospitals around the country.

Soldiers’ Angels was founded by Patti Patton-Bader, mother of Sgt. Brandon Varn, who has recently returned from a year’s deployment to Iraq. Soldiers’ Angels is an all volunteer run organization, incorporated in the state of Nevada. Soldiers’ Angels started in June of 2003. The Soldiers’ Angels mission is to provide aide and comfort to any of the armed forces and their families. More importantly, the slogan describes the motivation behind Soldiers’ Angels. By working together and sharing a common vision of service, the volunteers of Soldiers’ Angels send care to deployed soldier’s and their loved ones at home. To date they have accomplished to send thousands of care packages to deployed soldiers, helped the wounded at most military hospitals and aided military families in need. From its very inception, the focus of Soldiers’ Angels has been: Helping to bring home healthy soldiers.

Soldiers’ Angels of Alabama

Soldiers’ Angels of Alabama is a group of volunteers — military and civilians — living in Alabama. We are supported by the Soldiers’ Angels Foundation and many private donors. Our mission: To provide aid and comfort to any of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families.

This website will contain articles pertaining to Soldiers’ Angels in general, or any Soldiers’ Angels program chapters located and/or operating in Alabama.
